100% natural beauty brand BuzzBalm® was established by Heaton Moor beekeeper Tony Metters in 2015. Lockdown hasn’t stopped the Busy Bees at BuzzBalm® and it has been an extremely busy one for online sales of the All-Purpose Skin Cream.
The Agency Creative designed a contemporary visual identity for the BuzzBalm® brand, with a clean but organic feel. The distinctive bee emblem is prominent across the brand’s visuals, along with complimentary modern and classic fonts to give the brand legacy and heritage.
The 100% natural brand recently celebrated its 500th rating from verified purchase reviews on Amazon over the May bank holiday weekend with an average of 4 and a half stars!

BuzzBalm®’s mission is to improve people’s skin using natural ingredients straight from the beehive, whilst at the same promoting the use of natural products and protecting the honeybee from extinction.

The National Trust
As part of its growing success, BuzzBalm® has partnered with The National Trust in the North West (who are also passionate about bees and protecting the environment)
It originally started with Dunham Massey in Altrincham selling the products in their gift shop, which soon got the attention of other National Trust properties in the area. Dunham’s BuzzBalm is specific to them as it is made with honey from their very own bees kept on the Dunham estate. BuzzBalm is now also stocked at Tatton Park and Lyme Park.
Social Media Promotion
BuzzBalm® has amassed 1,660 followers on Instagram (May 2021) and The Agency Creative is repeatedly asked to design sales promotions for giveaways and special promotion events for the site.
Bee in the City Event– Manchester
BuzzBalm® were proud supporters of the ‘Bee in the City ‘event in Manchester in 2018 – It showcased the work of Manchester’s artists and makers – displayed in a series of windows, venues, businesses, and spaces across the city centre. BuzzBalm® was asked to get involved with one of the main sponsors GC Business Growth Hub as they sponsored one of the bees on St Peters Square – ‘Bee Leive’, dedicated each week to a different theme.
The Agency Creative designed and wrapped the BuzzBalm® mini in their branding. It was driven around Manchester in time for the ‘Bee in the City’ event.
The wonderful ingredients include Raw honey blend, bee propolis, unprocessed organic beeswax, royal jelly, fermented bee pollen, and organic extra virgin olive oils.
Fermented bee pollen, BuzzBalm®’s magic ingredient (also known as Melixir) is added at the final stage of production.
