The main thing to consider when trying to integrate your brand across different aspects of your company is consistency and cohesion, try not to have variations in design. It is easy to keep the design consistent and just adapt it, to suit the platform in which it is being implemented.
You may find it useful to have ‘Brand Guidelines’, this is basically just a guide which will set out how your logo can be used, and what fonts, colours and images can be used etc. This will help massively to ensure consistency. Especially if different aspects of your business are being created by different people. Guidelines allow for easy communication on your design expectations for any work being created for your business.
A good base to begin your Brand Guidelines, would be to include/consider the following…
Your brand isn’t just about the visuals, you also need to consider tone of voice, and the overall ‘feel’ of your business. It is important that this is replicated across all aspects of your business. For example its important to consider how you respond to clients on social media or reviews, If you have a professional/serious business with a formal tone it is not suitable to be chatty on social media. Your brand is everything about your business, so ensure every aspect linked to your business reflects this.
It is also important to realise that creating an all round consistent brand will not happen over night. It is a process that will take time to create something that is memorable for its customers.
