August saw us once again get involved in the marketing for The International Beatleweek festival. This annual event celebrates the music of arguably the most famous pop group the world has ever known, The Beatles – in the city where it all began. Live music and tours of the city welcomes fans from over 40 countries around the world to the iconic city each year.
Following on from the success of last year’s brochure, we curated another 100 page A5 programme to showcase the events of the festival. We have been involved in design work, branding and printing for The Cavern for a number of years.
I Saw Them Standing There
In addition to the programme we worked together with Chris Slater and The Cavern to design and print a 100-page book devoted to Chris’ findings of Beatles monuments all around the world. The book takes the reader on Chris’ adventures around four Continents, the statues he found and the people he met along the way. Proceeds of the books sales will go towards funding a statue of the forgotten fifth Beatle, the man who made it all possible for the Beatles – Brian Epstein.
This coffee table book is available for purchase from The Cavern in Liverpool.
