We were recently commissioned to design a printed booklet for Manchester Airport, part of MAG Group. Established in 1938 as Ringway, Manchester Airport has certainly come a long way. Most of us have used it for business and leisure, however the evolution that is now taking place is on an unprecedented scale. The exciting transformation will bring huge benefits in terms of job creation and economic generation. Many more routes are now coming on-stream to key locations in China and West Coast America and consequently, the world really is becoming a smaller place.
Manchester Airport is The UK’s Global Gateway in the North and work has already started to transform the airport, helping to boost the regional economy and act as a key driver of the Northern Powerhouse. We worked closely with the transformation team (MAN-TP) to develop literature that was distributed at a key event held at the airport. This was attended by some important figures including The Secretary of State for Transport, The Rt Hon Chris Grayling.
We developed a 16 page design that conveyed the key benefits and statistics and reflected the MAG Group brand guidelines. The design incorporated some stunning computer generated visuals that depict how the airport will look following the re-development. Terminal 2 will double in size to handle the huge increase in passenger numbers. Local business owners have also contributed with real life scenarios of how the locality of the airport has enabled them to do business more readily with clients worldwide. Further to the design of the booklet, we handled the print requirement which required a highly responsive turnaround. As an agency located in both Cheshire and Manchester, our location makes us easily accessible for businesses based at Manchester Airport and in the Airport City, Manchester locality.
