We have rebranded and designed a variety of materials for NYAS in the past, However this particular brochure is a redesign of the ‘Hello’ cards we designed for them last year. This brochure contains details on becoming a NYAS volunteer or an Independent Visitor. The National Youth Advocacy Service is a charity we work with based in Merseyside, they operate across England and Wales providing support and representation for children, young people and adults.
This brochure is designed and distributed specifically for people who are interested in becoming a volunteer for NYAS. Independent Visitors are crucial to NYAS; they have a large network of volunteers who freely give their time to help children and young people in care in both England and Wales.
IV’s meet their young person once a month and involve their young people in choosing the activities they want to do, this is often trips to the cinema, going to the park or a day shopping. IV’s are a friendly and a familiar face for the young people to enjoy new experiences with.
The format for this brochure makes it a convenient size to distribute and keep hold of, whilst containing all the relevant information and contact details for people interested in becoming a volunteer for NYAS. If you’re interested in volunteering or becoming an Independent Visitor for NYAS all the details are available on their website. You can download the application form on the website or email recruitment@nyas.net.
