CH1ChesterBID

The CH1ChesterBID was established to bring the retailers and business owners of Chester together to improve the standing and visitor experience of the city centre. In the face of increased competition from out of town shopping centres and online retail, this collaborative approach is a tried and tested formula that has been used in over 200 cities worldwide such as New York and Liverpool. A successful bid process would manifest itself in the creation of a Business Improvement District that would attract £2.5m of private investment.
After an intensive campaign suppported by The Agency Creative, CH1ChesterBID went to a vote in June and came back with an overwhelmingly successful outcome, securing the BID with a 75% majority yes vote. As a result CH1ChesterBID will generate £2.5 million in private sector investment over the next five years to revive Chester City Centre.
Photography
The website and printed marketing material are underpinned with bespoke photography.
The Agency Creative were commissioned to undertake a day long photo-shoot with the brief of
capturing the essence of CH1 and the character of the people who work there day in, day out.
From street cleaners to street pastors, art galleries to cheese markets, we were able to get a glimpse into the
workings of a vibrant city and produce a photographic story that shows us just what makes Chester tick.
Brand Collaboration
Working with the ChesterBID Team our brief was to act as a brand
consultants to help with the development and creation of a logo identity and supporting brand style.
To support awareness initiatives and events, we further supplied CH1 with a range of promotional materials such
as invites, banners, promotional stationery and pin badges for use as marketing giveaways.
