    Indian Tiffin Room

    Deliciously different, Indian Tiffin Room is an award winning and truly authentic Indian Street Food concept that has earned huge acclaim within its first year. Their first restaurant is based in Cheadle, South Manchester and was voted ‘most promising young business’
 at the 2014 Stockport Business Awards. 2016 saw the opening of Manchester, First Street which is a 90 seater restaurant situated in an exciting are fast developing area of the city centre. They have new opened there third restaurant in Leeds.

    ITR is widely recognised as one of the most unique and exciting restaurants in the region and the foundations are firmly set for growth. Accolades include a listing in The Good Food Guide and being classed as the 5th Best Indian Restaurant in the U.K according to Trip Advisor,

    The Brand

    From conception, we worked closely with the founders Srini and Suresh to develop a strong and distinctive brand identity. The logo incorporates a traditional tiffin carrier – a common lunchtime sight on the streets of Mumbai as couriers ferry fresh food across the city. As we developed the branding, we were inspired by the traditional and unique Indian artwork that hangs within the restaurant and gave the characters a modern twist. Abbreviated to ‘ITR’ the logo has two variations.


    As part of the brand development process, we conducted a photo-shoot which captured the fresh preparation of mouthwatering dishes, the skill and dedication of the staff and the atmosphere and surroundings of the restaurant.

    Menu Design

    The placemat menus are visually exciting and provide diners with an easy to navigate overview of the delights on offer – this provides the host with the opportunity to write on personal recommendations and suggestions to give a truly personal culinary experience. We selected an uncoated paper to give the menus a more rustic feel.
