The Society of Mediators are a charity that promotes the benefits of mediation in conflict resolution, offering an extremely cost effective alternative to litigation with time and often social advantage.
We worked alongside the SoM to design a logo that reflected their different approach to training mediators and making mediation accessible to those who may not otherwise be able to access it, choosing a simple and clear font that would work well alongside a strong icon, suggestive of unity and collaboration. It was important the symbol could be used throughout the brand, creating an icon that could be applied as a watermark to letterheads and business cards as well as to its web presence. A calming colour palette was chosen that also looked welcoming, professional and approachable.
