We’ve been lucky enough to work alongside Lisa Bradburn to help redesign her popular educational toys and gifts blog. Widely known as a ‘toy expert’ with coverage on the BBC and Sunday Times Style Magazine, Lisa’s experience as an ex-teacher and mother of three has given her a clear understanding of how children develop and learn.

Whilst her online shop ‘what2buy4kids’ offers a brilliant selection of carefully curated toys, her updated blog focuses on offering clear and helpful tips to anyone searching for advice on quality presents for children aged 1-12. Lisa also shares her ideas for children’s activities utilising toys that help encourage creativity and imagination, whilst also promoting social, physical and mental development.

During this redesign a new name was developed, with ‘The Toy Hunter’ chosen to reflect both her ideals and reputation. Our design brief was to continue this theme, designing a blog which reflects both traditional toys and modern gifts available for kids. We created bespoke illustrations to reflect this, using a fun, friendly and approachable style.
