2017 has been an action packed year for the Agency Creative.
Join us as we take a look back on some of our most memorable projects of 2017.
Indian Tiffin Room
We’ve been working with Indian Tiffin Room since they first opened in Cheadle. We created their branding and original website. We were delighted when they approached us this year and asked us to redevelop their website to celebrate their expansion into Manchester First Street. The website has a modern feel whilst paying homage to the original style we had designed for their first website. The Indian Tiffin Room continues to be one of our loyal clients over the last few years, and we are looking forward to their early New Year opening of their latest restaurant in Leeds.
Manchester Airport Group
A new client we were delighted to be working for this year was the Manchester Airport Group. We have worked closely with them, during their busy period of announcing the exciting transformation of Terminal Two. We have created brochures for their press release in July, and Mobile optimised pop-up advertisements for both Regional Newspaper websites and a Manchester based newspaper website.
BuzzBalm
2017 saw us work with a local beekeeper to create a brand identity for his all natural product BuzzBalm. BuzzBalm is a new skincare product; dedicated to protecting the honeybee and improving peoples skin using natural ingredients of the beehive. BuzzBalm has grown in popularity, and regularly receives amazing reviews from BuzzBalm converts. Due to its growing success, BuzzBalm is now being stocked in National Trust properties, on Amazon and in retailers in and around Manchester. We predict great things for this home grown Manchester based product in 2018!
The Cavern – I Saw Them Standing There
In September we worked together with The Cavern and Chris Slater to design and print a 100-page book. ‘I Saw Them Standing There’ is dedicated to Chris’ findings of Beatles monuments around the world. The coffee table book takes the reader on a journey around four continents, documenting the statues Chris found and the people he met along the way. The book was well received at the annual Beatles Week event. Profits from the book’s sales will go towards funding a statue of the forgotten fifth Beatle, Brian Epstein.
Warwick Estates – Northern Powerhouse Exhibition
At the Agency Creative we love receiving unusual requests when it comes to design work. In February another of our loyal clients Warwick Estates wanted a way to stand out at the annual UK Northern Powerhouse International Conference & Exhibition. We designed and utilised an ad-van to circulate the surrounding area of Manchester Central on the days of the event. This strategy combined with the large sized advert made sure to attract the attention of the event attendees.
Cottonopolis
Another of our websites we created this year was for Northern Quarter based bar Cottonopolis. We designed a website with the restaurant’s industrial heritage in mind. The website features predominantly copper and angular shapes. We used a simplistic colour scheme to showcase their striking photography.
NYAS
After the success of their new website and app launch last year, we continued to work with NYAS throughout 2017 providing them with a range of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and brochures. NYAS have also re-launched their charity Christmas Appeal this year. We helped NYAS to produce 3D Christmas trees that are designed to hold £1 coins so people can make a donation to the charity.
CGI’s
2017 saw us produce CGI’s for one of our property-based clients. As an agency that produces work for several property based business we recognised the growing importance of quality CGI’s in both selling and promoting property. We created both still CGI images and video for The Wild Boar Hotel & Country Club. CGI Videos are a really effective way of communicating proposed plans with clients. We also find they help to create a lot more interest than your usual floor plans.
The Plassey
One of our final main projects for the year was the creation of new promotional videos for our loyal clients: The Plassey. The Plassey is a holiday park tucked away in the Dee Valley in North Wales. They wanted an update of their existing video tour on their website. We created 4 videos in total for them; one to advertise the holiday park, and then three individual videos to promote the golf course, the health and beauty studios and their fitness and well being offerings.
We have enjoyed working with both our existing and new clients this year on a broad variety of projects.
We look forward to continuing this into the New Year!
